These terms govern your use of Patchwork, a personal news reader at patchwork.buzz. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Your account
- You must provide a valid email address and confirm it before signing in.
- You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
Acceptable use
Patchwork is for personal reading only. You agree not to:
- use Patchwork to republish, redistribute, or resell content you fetch through it;
- attempt to bypass rate limits, CAPTCHA, or other abuse controls;
- use the service to scrape or overload third-party sites beyond what a normal feed reader would do;
- use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, abuse, or harm others.
Content from your sources
Patchwork fetches content from sources you choose to subscribe to (feeds, YouTube channels, and similar). We don't control that content and aren't responsible for it. Copyright and other rights in fetched content remain with its original publishers.
Availability
We aim to keep Patchwork available and your data intact, but we offer no uptime guarantee. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using Patchwork and request account deletion at any time (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk to the service or other users.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
